First, he met a wise old turtle named Mr. Tortoise. "Patience, young Flicker," the turtle advised, "is the key to success. Do not rush, take your time to understand, and your light will shine brightly." Flicker thanked Mr. Tortoise and went on his journey, always remembering to be patient.

Then, Flicker met a busy bee named Buzz. Buzz was hardworking and known for her diligence. She hummed, "Perseverance, Flicker, is the secret to my honey. Even when the task is hard, keep trying, and success will come." Flicker thanked Buzz, promising to remember her wisdom.

Next, Flicker met a kind-hearted dove named Olive. Seeing Flicker's dim light, Olive cooed, "Compassion, dear Flicker, kindles the brightest light. Be compassionate to yourself, even when things seem tough." Flicker nodded, understanding the importance of being kind to himself.
